![]() GGM allows you to take your time and consider scenarios without an hourglass hanging over your head. Auto-battlers feel like a breath of fresh air from RPGs or FPSs that demand 110% of your attention. Salad says….play GGM! It’s a fun adventure that puts a fantastical twist in the world of auto-battler games. Utilizing your gladiators' strengths and unique abilities on top of priority points will ensure you cruise to victory. For example, focusing on the enemy’s ranged or magical units will turn their melee units into easy pickings. Priority points make each victory feel worthwhile and strategic. This feature can be critical in turning the tide if you’re outnumbered and out-leveled. Priority points allow you to pre-determine which enemies your gladiators will focus on or ignore when the fight begins. ![]() We highly recommend making use of the “priority points” feature when fighting those tougher battles. Pick the ones you know you can win, and save the Leeroy Jenkins tactics for later. Others will be tougher, but give greater rewards and items for victory. Some match-ups will be more favorable than others, but yield lesser rewards for winning them. You’ll have a choice of three to four match-ups to go up against If your gladiators die mid-tournament, you’ll have to wait some time before you can use them again. We were overconfident more than once and that led us to losing matches we really should have won. Pick Your Battles Carefullyĭon’t let the simplicity of an auto-battler fool you into thinking you can just throw whatever gladiators you have into the arena. Replaying some tournaments can be a good proving ground for some of your lower-level gladiators before you send them up against tougher opponents. You unlock more portions of the in-game map and story by winning monthly tournaments, which are usually fought against higher level gladiator teams. Success will be determined by how well you prepare your gladiators against their opponents. Study your gladiators and their skill sets carefully before you start the carnage. That means there is no micromanaging during the ten or fifteen-second fights. In auto-battlers, all you have to do is hit the “fight” button and your fighters will do the work for you. We don’t know about you, but we’re hoping for a Maximus Decimus Meridius unlockable character in a future update. You’ll have to spend resources to open up more gladiator- and item slots, but all three will come naturally as you progress through the game. Beware, this feature will put a dent in your in-game pocketbook. ![]() Clicking this option will ensure your gladiators will stay dead if they die once. If you really want to punish yourself, you can click a perma-death option in the GGM main menu. When your gladiators die (and die they will), they will revive after a short time. These can be very helpful in bridging the level gap between your gladiators and the enemy’s. Consumables will boost a certain attribute or two for the very next battle only, hence the term. Gear will apply to your gladiator (even if they die and are revived) and boost their attributes. Gear and consumables will also help your gladiator overcome tougher opponents. Rounding out your gladiator’s total points is key to their survivability. However, don’t feel like you're obligated to just pour in points to your gladiator's favored attributes. For example, archers and marksmen will benefit greatly from additions to their agility, while knights and brawlers will be able to hold their own with high health and stamina. Some attributes are better suited to some gladiators than others. Dwarves (marksmen): ranged fighters that use firearmsĮach type of gladiator has six attributes that you can add skill points to as they level up: agility, health, stamina, strength, intelligence, and movement.Undead (mages): support or offensive mages.Elves (archers/mages): ranged fighters or offensive mages. They are definitely worth their cost and wage for this feature alone! These guys turn their giant axes into guitars if you win a match.Orks (brawlers/damage dealers): tanky, upfront fighters.Humans (knights/mages): tanky defenders or supporting mages.Who are the noble gladiators that will fight on your behalf?
